Beware the snare of The Jackal

Poetry, narcotrafficking, and schmoozing in his tuxedo are tools that Curtis exploits to smother the pain of his past. Driven to persistently expand his cocaine and hotel businesses while surrounding himself in luxury, Curtis can never seem to fill the cavity created by his parents’ untimely death. 

When Curtis meets Bryn, an unpretentious orchard worker, he is convinced that she is everything he has been searching for, but the deeper he pulls her into his unhinged world, the more he struggles to keep his underground life hidden. When his operation takes a direct hit, Curtis is confident he can still save his empire and relationship, and fights to remain three moves ahead of the destruction that pursues him.
